To work properly, you need to lift the carpet. Find out where the joints and relax with a hammer and punch to hit the nail again if the nails do not hold the bottom plate by the use of wood, and again they put hammer near the age of the nail to make sure you hit a bar at the bottom.

The best way to update is not a creaking floor nail on the ground, but saw use. The main cause of squeaky floors is the expansion and contraction of underground soft wood around the nail. Do not loosen the screws.
However, the other person is correct, if you are not the word most closely until you live your soil to remove

A quick solution is to sprinkle powdered talc, and simply try to between the tables with a soft brush semi work. It will be able to help the slides wood, rather than rubbing against each other ...... working hard on my wood in the 12th Floor, the old house he bought last year
